RCC "Russian soul" joins together people of different nationalities with a common interest in Russian culture and language.
The Russian Cultural Center “Russian Soul” is committed to preserving and promoting rich and diverse Ethnic Russian cultural and artistic heritage through research, presentation, and outreach programs, as well as serving as a liaison between the Russian-speaking community and the broader community of the Twin cities. We advocate and support such community values as understanding and appreciation of ethnic and cultural diversity, art, education, and sharing spirit. We support immigrants and adoptees from Russian through the adaptation process and trauma of immigration through holistic approach to their emotional and psychological needs, offering ancient Russian folk arts and crafts as therapeutic mediums, and helping them to forge and strengthen ties in the community. We enrich the multicultural educational and artistic community of the Twin Cities with the unique exposure to authentic folk Russian culture. We firmly believe that powers of folk arts and crafts will inspire people, promote community spirit, enhance daily life, and help new immigrants to adjust to the life in the new country.
