Art in Stone Monuments

Custom Granite and Marble Memorials

Art in Stone Monuments has designed and fabricated custom granite and marble memorials in Colma since the 1980s, working directly with families on new monuments, portrait etching, and restoration of existing headstones. Every portrait is hand-etched into premium granite with precision that holds up for generations, and pricing runs at factory rates with payment plans available for families who need them. The shop offers delivery and at-home consultations, so families are not required to make the trip to Colma to start the process during an already difficult time.

Art in Stone Monuments has worked with Colma-area families since the 1980s, designing and fabricating custom granite and marble memorials rather than offering a catalog of pre-made designs.

Services include:
- New monument design and fabrication
- Restoration of existing monuments and headstones
- Hand-etched granite portraits
- Factory-direct pricing
- Payment plans
- Delivery service
- At-home consultations

Because each piece is designed and carved specifically for the family commissioning it, no two memorials look alike, and the shop works closely with families through every stage, from choosing the stone to approving the final design. At-home consultations and delivery mean the process can start without a trip to Colma, which matters during a time that is already difficult enough.
