Northup Design Association has designed new single-family homes, duplexes, triplexes, and home remodels throughout King and Snohomish County, Washington, since 2006. Every project moves from initial concept through CADD-drafted working drawings ready for a building permit, covering additions, dormers, decks, porches, and garages as easily as a brand-new house. For clients who want to skip the custom design process altogether, the firm also sells ready-made single-family, duplex, and triplex plans that are faster and less expensive to permit since the designs are already approved.
Before a project ever reaches the drafting table, the firm walks clients through exactly what the local Building Department requires for their specific site and reviews what a full architectural package needs to include, so there are no surprises once permitting begins. New construction and remodel projects both go through the same process: site visit, review of zoning and neighborhood design codes, conceptual design, and then working drawings once the concept is approved.
