Krasov Emma
Private SFMOMA Tours and a Writers Workshop
My name is Emma Krasov. I was born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine, graduated from Kyiv National University, and have spent my career as a journalist. Since 2003, I have led private and group tours at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in English and Russian. For more than twenty years I have written about art, restaurants, and travel for publications across San Francisco and Silicon Valley, and that shows in every tour I give: I tell stories that stick, not just facts.
Beyond museum tours, I teach a Writer's Workshop class in the Bay Area for anyone who wants to learn to tell their own stories, whether that is travel writing, memoir, or fiction. I have worked as an exhibit developer at Chicago's Field Museum, as city editor of the Castro Valley Forum, and I currently write a regular art and travel column for the newspaper Kstati, along with contributions to publications like Where Magazine, Haute Living, and Bay Area Reporter.
If you would like a private SFMOMA tour for yourself, your family, or visiting guests, or you are considering the Writer's Workshop class, reach out and I can talk through the details.
