Happy Kids is a home-style, Russian-speaking daycare in San Mateo where children are treated like family. Groups stay small, and caregivers get to know every child personally, creating the kind of warm, safe environment parents remember gratefully for years.

Even though the environment is Russian-speaking, the daycare also prepares kids for school in English, working on reading, counting, and conversation. The program includes music and movement classes, arts and crafts projects, daily outdoor play, and home-cooked, healthy meals made on site. Parents get photos from the day's activities, and a few times a year the kids put on a small performance with songs, dances, and poems for their families to watch.
