Matryoshka

Russian Daycare and Saturday School in Ottawa

Matryoshka-Uspekh brings together a licensed daycare enrolled in the CWELCC program and a Saturday Russian school for school-age children, two different programs under one roof, both run in Russian.

The daycare accepts children from an early age through school age, and on Saturdays the school runs for children who are already enrolled in a local school but want to keep up their Russian.

The school program includes:
- Russian language and literature
- Russian history
- Mathematics
- World culture
- Music and dance
- Home economics and applied arts
- Chess

The centre also has a speech therapy office for children who need help with speech.
