Kelmansky Yuliya

Criminal Defense, DUI, and Federal Cases Attorney

I represent people across Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Ventura counties who are facing criminal charges - from DUI and domestic violence to theft, fraud, weapons charges, drug crimes, and serious felonies in both California state and federal court. I appear in court nearly every day, and I build a defense strategy around the specific facts of your case rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, staying in close, direct contact with you at every stage.

Before moving to the United States, I worked in criminal justice abroad, including litigation work for a customs and border agency, and I supervised other attorneys before ever setting foot in a California courtroom. After passing the California Bar, I built my practice entirely around criminal defense, and I now handle cases ranging from DUI and domestic violence restraining orders to burglary, robbery, fraud, weapons and gun charges, drug offenses, assault and battery, sex crimes, homicide, and other serious felonies - in both California state courts and U.S. federal court.

My track record includes dismissed felony and federal charges, reduced counts, mental health diversion outcomes, and dropped restraining orders, because every case gets its own strategy rather than a generic playbook. I also help clients move forward after a case closes through arrest record sealing and expungement.

I handle:
- DUI and DWI defense
- Domestic violence charges and restraining orders
- Theft, burglary, robbery, and fraud
- Weapons and gun charges
- Drug crime defense
- Assault, battery, and sex crime charges
- Homicide and other serious felonies
- Federal criminal defense
- Arrest record sealing and expungement

I speak Russian, Ukrainian, English, and Spanish, and I am available around the clock, because criminal cases do not wait for business hours. If you or someone you know has been arrested, charged, or is under investigation, reach out for a free consultation before you say anything to anyone else.
