Ballroom, Latin, and Wedding Dance Lessons

Genesis DanceSport Studio has taught ballroom and Latin dance in San Francisco since 1994, offering group and private lessons in Waltz, Tango, Cha Cha, Rumba, Salsa, and more for dancers of every age and level. The studio welcomes complete beginners, wedding couples preparing a first dance, and competitive dancers training for national and world titles alike.

Lessons cover the full competitive dance program: International Latin (Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive), International Standard (Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep), American Rhythm, and American Smooth, alongside social styles like Salsa.

Kids group classes run alongside adult and pro/am programs, and the studio regularly develops competitive couples who go on to place at national and world events. Whether the goal is a wedding first dance, a new hobby, or serious competition training, instructors build a program suited to each student's pace and goals.
