Psychotherapy for Adults and Families in San Francisco
I grew up in the Komi Republic in a family of doctors and dreamed of becoming a psychotherapist since I was five years old. I studied medicine at Perm Medical Academy, specializing in psychiatry, and moved with my family to San Francisco in 1993, later earning my PsyD from Argosy University. I see clients in both English and Russian.
I work with adults, seniors, couples, families, and children age nine and up, treating depression, anxiety, panic attacks, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and family difficulties. My approach draws on a range of methods - including cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Gottman Method couples therapy, and techniques for working with early trauma - matched to the individual person rather than a single one-size-fits-all approach.
