Second Slavic Baptist Church has served the Russian-speaking community in Sacramento since 1997. Sunday services are held in Russian at 9:30 am and in English at noon, with an evening service at 5:00 pm and a Thursday prayer service at 7:00 pm.

The church runs several choirs and orchestras - the Gloria choir, the Svetliy Mig choir and symphonic orchestra, a men's choir, and a children's choir - along with its own amateur theater ministry, Quo Vadis, which has staged large-scale productions with pantomime, video, and choreography since 2009, involving well over a hundred actors of all ages. The church also runs ministries for children, teens through Skala Teens, women, and families, a Vacation Bible School, and its own creative media team.
