Russian School of Mathematics - Buffalo Grove

Award-Winning After-School Math for K-12

RSM-Buffalo Grove is a branch of the Russian School of Mathematics, a national program built on the math education traditions of elite Soviet-era schools, using the Polya Four-Step Method and Vygotsky-based teaching to build real understanding rather than memorized steps. The branch has served Buffalo Grove and Wheeling families since 2014 with classes for kindergarten through 12th grade, competition math, summer school, tutoring, and online options, in small classes of around 12 students split into three proficiency levels per grade. RSM overall has grown to more than 80,000 students across North America since its 1997 founding, and Johns Hopkins CTY has named it one of the top math schools in the world.
