Ukrainian National Federal Credit Union

Coney Island Avenue

The Brooklyn branch of Ukrainian National Federal Credit Union on Coney Island Avenue is where recently arrived Ukrainians and long-time residents open accounts, arrange auto loans, mortgages, and credit cards, and set up the mobile app, with information for newcomers available in Ukrainian. The credit union operates under NCUA supervision.

Did you recently arrive in the US, or have you lived here a while and want to join the Ukrainian community? The credit union has a dedicated page in Ukrainian with clear steps for you.

To open an account you will need:
- An identity document: if you do not have an American one, a Ukrainian international passport is accepted
- A copy of your Social Security number
- A US residence address
- A small opening fee and a minimum balance, with the terms confirmed at the branch

Both individuals and businesses are served: personal and business accounts, deposits, retirement plans, commercial loans, and auto loans. Members include parishioners of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Mission Parish, and most operations, including mobile deposit, balance checks, bill pay, and transfers between accounts, can be done from the app.
