Colorado Russian Center

Sunday Russian School: Language, Math, Music, Art

A Sunday Russian school in Erie for children from age one and a half and for adults: letters, reading and writing, math, music, art, chess, and even fun chemistry. The center was built and is sustained by parent volunteers, so children grow up among families for whom Russian language and traditions are truly alive.

Subjects for children and students:
- Russian language by level: learning letters, starting to read and write, studying grammar, and rhetoric and composition for older students
- Russian as a foreign language for ages 3 to 9
- Music and rhythm, vocals, and music literacy
- Speech and logic development for toddlers
- Fun math for children from age 3.5
- Art, handcrafts, checkers, and chess
- The world around us, journey through countries, and fun chemistry
- Computer literacy, economics, and financial literacy

For adults: Russian as a foreign language, drawing, and hatha yoga.

Classes run on Sundays in fall and spring semesters, and registration opens on the website. Families come from Denver, Boulder, Arvada, and Fort Collins. This is a nonprofit organization with a mission to pass language, culture, and traditions to children growing up in a multicultural society, and the center always welcomes volunteers and support from friends.
