Konstantinov Sergey
Murals, Fine Art and Restoration
I am Sergey Konstantinov, a classically trained painter and restorer working with San Francisco Bay Area interior designers and architects since 1991. I paint monumental wall murals and grisaille work for private homes and public spaces, alongside easel paintings and graphic works available as limited-edition prints. I also restore and conserve fine art, antique furnishings, and decorative pieces using the same materials and techniques as the original artists. My work has been featured in Forbes, Veranda, and Haute Living San Francisco, shown at the Florence Biennale and Artexpo Milano, and commissioned for private residences, hotels, and estate collections across the Bay Area.
I am Sergey Konstantinov, and I have worked as a painter, muralist, and art conservator in San Francisco since 1991, after training at the Art College in Vizhnitsa and the Academy of Art in Lvov, Ukraine, and becoming a member of the Artist Union of the USSR in 1986.
My work includes:
- Monumental wall murals, classical and contemporary, in the grisaille technique and others
- Easel painting and graphic works, including limited-edition prints
- Restoration and conservation of paintings, sculpture, and decorative arts
- Restoration of antique furnishings, mirrors, and wall sconces
- Collaboration with interior designers and architects on full-room concepts, from color scheme to final mural
My work has been featured in Forbes, Veranda, Unique Home Magazine, Haute Living San Francisco, and 300 Magazine New York, shown at the Florence Biennale, Artexpo Milano, and the San Francisco Fall Antiques Show, and commissioned for private residences, hotels including The Huntington Hotel San Francisco, and estate collections including the Ann Getty House Collection and Harlan Estate. Whether the project is a single restored painting or a full mural room designed around a client's own architecture, I work directly with designers, architects, and homeowners from the first sketch through the final brushstroke.
