In-Home Care with Russian-Speaking Caregivers

Alpine Homecare has been arranging in-home care across the Denver metro area since 2000, with a caregiver pool large enough - over 400 people - to include a genuine bench of Russian-speaking providers, so care can happen in the language spoken at home. Family members can even become a paid caregiver for their own relative under the program, and services are free for qualifying Medicaid clients, with affordable private-pay rates available for everyone else.

Beyond standard personal care and homemaking help, Alpine Homecare holds a Program Approved Service Agency (PASA) status for clients with developmental disabilities, is an approved provider for the Department of Veterans Affairs, and takes part in the Holocaust Survivor Assistance Program through JFS, the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG), and the GUIDE program from CMS for people with dementia. Every caregiver passes drug screening, criminal background checks, and OIG and CAPS screening before being matched with a client, and the agency also takes part in the Respite Care Program run by the State of Colorado, for family caregivers who provide more than 40 hours a week of unpaid care.

Alpine offers help applying for Medicaid, disability, food stamps, and housing assistance, and a multilingual intake team can meet a client at home or at a hospital before discharge, scanning documents on the spot to start the process immediately.
