Russian Language Classes for Kids and Adults

The Russian Language School has been teaching Russian language and culture in Bellevue since 1993, with small classes led by native Russian instructors. The school runs two tracks side by side - Russian lessons for English-speaking students, and full instruction for children from Russian-speaking families who want to keep the language and culture alive at home.

For the youngest students, morning programs welcome children ages 3 to 5 for one to five days a week, and a dedicated Kindergarten program for five-year-olds runs small classes in Russian, math, drawing, music, and theater. Older children continue with structured Russian language classes, and adults can join their own track to learn Russian from the same experienced, native-speaking instructors. Each summer, the school runs a summer camp that keeps kids engaged and speaking Russian outside the regular school year.

Every program is built around small class sizes and real personal attention, not a one-size-fits-all curriculum, so instruction can be shaped around where each student actually is.
