Russian Language, Culture and Enrichment

Since 1996, Bookvar has taught Russian language to children ages 3 to 14 and to adults of every level, from complete beginners to advanced speakers, through beginner, preparatory, intermediate, and advanced tracks. Classes for children combine structured language instruction with a dedicated library, computer and video classes, interactive language games, chess, recreational math, drawing and sculpting, plus individual music and table tennis lessons, while adult students can choose private lessons, group classes, or online instruction. Regular Russian-language film screenings and family programs round out a school built around keeping the language and culture alive for the next generation.

Bookvar has taught Russian language and culture in the Twin Cities since 1996, with programs built separately for children and adults rather than a one-size-fits-all curriculum.
