Mark Babakhanov, the owner of the shop has more than 25 years of experience in shoe repair. He had worked for well known shoe repair companies such as Dardanos, Drago shoe repair in New York.

His brother Ruben specializes in repair of handbags, purses, suitcases, belts, and jackets. Custom made shoes and boots are ideal for those who have feet problems or feel discomfort when wearing conventional store bought shoes. Mark works one on one with the customers interested in ordering a pair of shoes designed just for them. He takes all the measurements and adheres to any specifications requested. Modern Shoe Repair is an institution carrying on the old-time traditions, but now using the newest technology.
