Russian School of Dallas

Russian School and Theater in Dallas

Russian School of Dallas has taught Russian language and culture since 2007, with programs for children as young as 18 months through adults - reading, writing, literature, history, and AP-level Russian exam preparation for kids, plus conversation-focused group and private classes for adults, including intensive courses for families relocating to Russian-speaking countries. The school also runs its own children's theater, giving young performers a stage to use the language they are learning.

Children's classes cover reading and writing, Russian as a native, foreign, or second language, Russian literature, and the history of Russia, alongside early-development classes for toddlers and their mothers and a pre-school math program - all building toward the Prototype AP Russian Language and Culture Exam for older students. The school's Russian Children Theater runs a musical theater track for ages 4 to 9 and a drama track for ages 10 to 17, teaching acting, diction, improvisation, singing, and dancing, and has won awards at the International Festival Planet of Talents and the International Festival of Russian Children Theaters in Washington.

Adults can join weekly group classes, book a series of private one-on-one sessions, or take an intensive relocation course built for families and professionals moving to a Russian-speaking country - each class shaped around real conversation and comprehension rather than just grammar drills.
