European Coffee, Rose and Lavender Tea Lattes, Pistachio Baklava

A double espresso Dublu, a BonBon with condensed milk, tea lattes with lavender and rose, and alongside them pistachio baklava and the famous Romanian Sweet Eugenia cookie: the European Coffee House in Buford has assembled a European morning table you will not find in an ordinary American coffee shop.

At the heart of the menu is the European way of making coffee: espresso, double espresso, americano, cappuccino, latte, and mocha, plus the BonBon, where a double shot meets condensed milk in a tiny cup. For those who want tea or matcha there are tea lattes with unusual bouquets: Earl Grey with lavender, oolong with rosebuds and chamomile, rooibos with bergamot and rose, and chai with rose water and cardamom, as well as matcha lattes with honey or rose.

In Europe a cookie goes with the coffee, and here it is the famous Romanian Sweet Eugenia: two vanilla cookies with a chocolate rum cream. For fans of eastern sweets there is pistachio baklava, and with a European market working right next door, you can pick up cheese, sausage, or sweets to take home with the cup.
