Status Transportation

For owner-operators: choose your loads and get paid weekly

Your truck is waiting while the good loads go to someone else? Status Transportation in Atlanta works with owner-operators who decide for themselves which loads to take. Dispatchers offer the best available rates, and you can turn down a load that does not fit your weight, hours or rate per mile: there is no forced dispatch here.

Choose the way you run. OTR suits drivers who are ready for long hauls and a return home every few weeks. Regional keeps you closer to home: your operating area is your home state plus at least ten surrounding states, and you run at least five days a week. Loads move in all 48 states, including long East-West, North-South and Midwest lanes.

You roll out with:
- your own trailer, or a company dry van or flatbed
- weekly settlements paid by direct deposit
- EFS fuel cards with a fuel discount
- e-logs at no extra cost
- no-touch freight

There is no need to take a tractor or trailer to a stranger: Status Truck and Trailer Repair on site handles repairs and scheduled maintenance for tractors and trailers, including brakes, electrical, doors and suspension, plus roadside assistance for trucks, buses and motor homes. A separate department keeps an eye on DOT compliance and safety.

You need your own tractor and verifiable driving experience. Walk in without an appointment: the recruiters will answer your questions about terms and leasing.
