European Cheeses, Sausages, Fresh Bread, and Sweets

Sheep cheese and kashkaval, farmers cheese, smoked sausages, and the chocolates you grew up with: since 2021 the family-owned European Farmers Market in Buford has put on its shelves the products that once meant driving across half of Atlanta. Fresh bread, cakes, and pastries sit right by the door.

The dairy section has a place of its own: Lifeway kefir, farmers cheese (Friendship, Svalya), Bulgarian yogurt, sour cream, and a full shelf of cheeses: Krinos feta and manouri, Bulgarian sheep kashkaval, Carpathian sheep cheese, sulguni, Gouda, Havarti, and Manchego. Next to them sit the meats: Moscow-style salami and Polish kabanos sausages by Patak, Romanian mici sausages by the tray, along with pates and fish.

For a sweet tooth there is candy and chocolate for every taste: Roshen and Giotto pralines, chocolate cherries, Maitre Truffout and Excelcium truffles, marzipan, fruit drops, and hard candy, and for tea or coffee there are preserves, jams, cookies, and cakes. Babkiny and Martin sunflower seeds have a shelf of their own, beside pickles, olives, and flour.
