Des Plaines Volleyball Academy for Ages 9-15

BVA Lions (Bulgarian Volleyball Academy) is a nonprofit volleyball academy in Des Plaines blending North American, South American, and European playing styles. Programs for boys and girls ages 9-15, with a focus on development over results.

Every court has two certified coaches, rosters are capped at 14 players, and each child's progress is evaluated three times a season with an individual report.

The Boys 14U team has ranked Top 5 in Illinois for four consecutive years, won the 24/25 Regional Championship, and placed in the Top 20 nationally at the 2024 AAU Nationals.

Programs range from tournament-free fundamentals training to a full competitive season running November through June, depending on age and level.
