Yeleseyevsky Deli
Caviar, Smoked Fish, Bakery, and Prepared Foods in Mayfield Heights
The name comes from Moscow's famous Yeleseyevsky food hall, and the store on Mayfield Road works to live up to it: red and black caviar, smoked sturgeon, a deli counter, cheeses, fresh baked goods, and prepared dishes have been gathered here since 2006. It is one of the largest Russian grocery stores in Cleveland, where people stop for one item and leave with a full bag.
The kitchen and bakery serve those with no time to stand at the stove: ready-made salads and hot dishes, frozen dumplings, fresh bread, and cakes. The drink selection is serious too: wines and beers from different European countries, kvass, mineral water, and tea for any table.
Those with a sweet tooth get an entire wall: candies, chocolate by the box and by weight, cookies, marshmallow, and pastila. And if you need to send gifts to family abroad, the store arranges parcels and goods to more than thirty countries.
