I have been practicing family law in California since 2001.

Maria Taylor is a Russian-speaking family law attorney who has practiced in California since 2001. Born in Ufa, Russia, she graduated from Moscow State Linguistic University before immigrating to the United States in 1992. She earned her law degree Cum Laude, in the top 11 percent of her class, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, and has served as a Pro Tem Family Law Judge. She has handled cases in the family courts of San Diego, Orange, Riverside, Rancho Cucamonga, and San Mateo counties.

Over the course of her practice, Maria has represented clients in a wide range of situations:
- International child and spousal support disputes where the parties live in different countries
- Paternity cases, including paternity determination for same sex couples
- Complex, high asset litigation involving multi-million dollar estates in the United States and abroad, working with forensic accountants to trace community property
- Setting aside interspousal property transfers signed under duress
- Successfully opposing the joinder of a multi-million dollar business into a divorce case
- Child custody, visitation, and move away cases
