I spent years litigating personal injury, insurance, and energy-sector cases from both the plaintiff and defense sides before moving into mediation full time, and that courtroom background is exactly what I bring to the table now: I know how each side actually evaluates a case, not just how the law reads on paper. Licensed in Texas since 2007 and a native of Ukraine, I offer mediation in Russian as well as English and Spanish.
My background covers a wide range: representing injured clients across Texas from a first client meeting through appeal, defending insurance companies and corporations against claims, and handling oil and gas title work and real estate transactions across multiple states. That range means I can sit across from either side of a dispute and understand exactly what they are weighing.
Mediation is confidential and cannot be used against either party in court later, and my role is not to decide who is right - it is to help both sides find a resolution that avoids the real unpredictability of a jury trial.
