Montessori Teacher Training

Seton Montessori Institute in Clarendon Hills has trained teachers, administrators, and specialists in the Montessori method since 1970. The Institute is accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE), affiliated with the American Montessori Society, and approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education.

The Institute awards American Montessori Society credentials across four areas: infant-toddler, early childhood, elementary, and school administration.

Beyond teacher training, the Institute runs seminars for educators and parents, consults on international education programs, and helps schools and preschools implement the Montessori method.

Over more than five decades, the Institute has trained thousands of Montessori educators and school leaders across the US and around the world.
