Orchard, Farm Market and Petting Zoo

SunBerry Orchard planted its first apple trees in Mundelein in 2017, and the operation has since grown into more than 150 varieties of fruit trees across three orchards, all farmed without antibiotics, additives, or GMOs. The Mundelein Farm Market opened in 2022, selling pasture-raised frozen meats, free-range eggs, raw honey, and fruit jam alongside a bakery turning out sourdough, challah, and handmade pies from scratch. A cider mill presses fresh apple cider on site, and the petting zoo, added in 2023, lets kids meet goats, bunnies, ponies, and peacocks between rounds of apple picking.
