Shalom Kosher Bakery is a family-owned kosher bakery in Buffalo Grove that has been baking since 1995. It is known for real, made-from-scratch challah and its legendary Alligator cake, and everything is certified Kosher Parve - completely dairy-free - and made in a nut-free facility.

Fresh challah comes out of the oven daily, and the bakery's signature Alligator cake has become the thing people drive across town for.

The bakery also makes Danish pastries and sprinkle cookies, and takes custom orders for weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, bris ceremonies, and birthdays of any size.
