Family Daycare in North Framingham
A licensed family daycare for children from 18 months to 5 years in the northern part of town: a warm, home-like setting inspired by Russian culture, available full time or part time. Every day brings gymnastics, music, Russian, yoga, art and crafts, outdoor play, a hot lunch, and nap time, all built on attention to each child and the care that makes a little one feel at home.
The aim of the program is simple: to create a safe, loving, and stimulating home setting where a child can grow. Each little one is helped to build a positive self-image and supported in social, physical, intellectual, and emotional development. The group is small, with adults nearby who know every child by name.
The day starts gently: arrival, free play, hand washing, breakfast and tooth brushing, then a morning circle where children say hello and settle in for the day. After that come the classes, followed by outdoor play, lunch, and a quiet nap. In the afternoon the children dress up for play, have a snack, and do what they love: listen to stories, cook together, draw, build with blocks, solve puzzles, and head outside once more at the end of the day.
Daily classes draw on:
- gymnastics, to stretch and run around
- music, songs, and rhythm
- Russian, so words and stories stay alive
- yoga for calm and flexibility
- art and craft, to create with their hands
The food is home-style and balanced, with age-appropriate textures: oatmeal or semolina porridge with fruit and berries, cheese pancakes with applesauce, crepes with honey, a boiled egg with toast for breakfast, then chicken meatballs with mashed potatoes and carrots, chicken noodle soup, mild beef stew, fish with peas, and turkey and vegetable soup for lunch, and yogurt, cottage cheese with fruit, cheese, fruit, and whole grain crackers for snacks. The menu mixes Russian-inspired dishes with everyday kid-friendly food, and meals are adjusted for allergies and restrictions.
