Kantor Currency Exchange

Currency Exchange and WU Inside Starsky Fine Foods

The Hamilton branch of Kantor Currency Exchange operates right inside Starsky Fine Foods on Queenston Road, making it easy to pick up European groceries and exchange currency in the same stop. The branch offers over 70 currencies with no commission, plus Western Union money transfers.

The Hamilton branch is part of the Kantor Currency Exchange network, which has operated in Canada since 2001 and was founded as the country's first Ukrainian currency exchange company. Even with only two service windows, staff work to keep things moving while taking the time to explain every transaction clearly - customers specifically note the polite, patient service.

The branch draws a genuinely international crowd from across the neighborhood, so expect a short wait during busy hours. If you are already at Starsky Fine Foods picking up groceries, stop by Kantor too - to exchange currency or send a money transfer.
