Ukrainian Orthodox Church

St John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church is a parish of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA in the Sellwood neighborhood of Portland. Every Saturday from 11am to 2pm, parishioners sell homemade sausage, cabbage rolls, and pierogi straight from the church kitchen.

Beyond its regular services, the parish holds an annual Ukrainian festival for the whole neighborhood, a tradition going back to at least 2009, when the street in front of the church is blocked off for a celebration of Ukrainian food, music, and culture. We offer and handle:
- Regular Sunday Divine Liturgy
- Sales of homemade sausage, cabbage rolls, and pierogi every Saturday from 11am to 2pm
- Dine in or takeout for the Saturday food sale
- An annual Ukrainian festival open to all neighbors

The parish belongs to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA and hosted a visit from an archbishop in 2022.
