Gresham Sanitary Service

Garbage and Recycling for Home and Business

Gresham Sanitary Service has served Gresham, East Multnomah County, and the greater Portland area since 1948. The company collects residential and commercial garbage, yard debris, and recyclables, provides containers, compactors, and drop boxes, and handles medical waste disposal for everyone from large hospitals to single-doctor offices.

What began as a father-and-son sanitation business has grown into a company serving single-family homes, apartment complexes, restaurants, and construction sites across the region. The company was the first in Oregon to run a Compressed Natural Gas garbage truck, and today its entire primary fleet runs on Renewable Natural Gas, cutting emissions more than 320 percent compared to diesel.

Online payments and paperless billing are available, making it easy to manage an account without extra phone calls. Whether it is routine household pickup or a drop box for a construction site, the company has a service built for the job.
