Homewood Mountain Resort

Lake Tahoe Skiing With Lake Views and Short Lines

Homewood Mountain Resort spans 1,260 acres of Lake Tahoe's West Shore, with 7 lifts and 66 runs that face directly out over the lake, so skiers get water views on nearly every run down the mountain. Compared to Tahoe's larger resorts, Homewood keeps lift lines short and prices lower while still delivering a full day of skiing and riding.

For a more private, backcountry-style day, Homewood Snowcat Adventures takes small groups of up to eight guests into more than 700 acres of guided terrain around Ellis Peak that regular lift access does not reach.

The resort is part of a broader effort to modernize its lifts and base facilities while keeping the same laid-back, community feel that has defined it for generations. On-mountain dining and two lodges give skiers a place to warm up between runs without leaving the base area.
