The Same Bakery Since 1953, Now in the Mission District

After nearly eight years of preparation, including the pandemic, rising construction costs, and a long approval process with the city, Cinderella, the family bakery that has operated in San Francisco since 1953, opened a second location at 24th and Alabama streets in the Mission District. The new, roughly 3,500-square-foot café is about three times the size of the original, and its community grand opening was hosted by the Calle 24 Latino Cultural District, a genuine welcome for a Russian bakery landing in a Latino neighborhood.
