Private Tours of San Francisco and the Bay Area

I lead private tours of San Francisco and the Bay Area in my own mini-van, picking you up right from your door at a time that works for you. Tours include classic San Francisco sightseeing, San Francisco at night, Wine Country, Jack London's Museum, Muir Woods, Tiburon, and Sausalito. I am the only Russian-speaking guide in California trained at the legendary Leningrad Excursion Bureau.

I hold two university degrees - a Master's in Philosophy from Leningrad (Saint Petersburg) University and a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. I worked at the elite Leningrad Excursion Bureau, which developed one of the best tour guide training methodologies in Europe, and I remain the only guide in California with that background.

Beyond tours, I am a bilingual journalist, published in American and Russian publications, and I write a blog for The Jerusalem Post. I hold a commercial driver's license and personally drive the mini-van on every tour, so you travel with me from start to finish, with no middleman.
