Counseling for Adults, Children, and Families
I am a licensed mental health counselor, and my Bellevue office is a place where you can finally say out loud what is hard to carry alone or to discuss with family. I work with adults, teens, and children, help families hear each other again, and speak with you in Russian or English, whichever makes it easier to put your feelings into words.
I have worked in this field since 1999, and children and families hold a special place in my practice: I am the author of the children book My Name Is Alice, about a child living through divorce in the family, so I know which words work when the subject is hard. Together we look not for ready-made answers but for your own way forward: how to deal with a state that has been getting in the way of life for a long time, how to rebuild understanding between loved ones, and how to find your footing in a new country.
You can come to me for:
- Depression, anxiety, and lingering stress
- The loss of a loved one
- Difficulties adapting to a new culture
- Problems in family relationships and parenting
- Divorce and its effect on children and parents
- Emotional difficulties and neuroses
- Therapy for children and teens, family therapy, and marriage counseling
