I am a family lawyer in Vancouver, practicing exclusively in family law since 1990, with a focus on divorce, parenting arrangements, support, and property division. As an accredited mediator and arbitrator, I favor resolving disputes through negotiation and alternative dispute resolution wherever possible, rather than defaulting straight to court. As an accredited parenting coordinator, family law mediator, and arbitrator, I strongly believe most family disputes are better resolved through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration than through drawn-out litigation - it's usually faster, less expensive, and easier on everyone involved, especially children. That said, when a case genuinely needs to go to court, I represent clients there too.
