Immigration Law, Deportation Defense, and Business Visas
I went through a long, exhausting immigration process myself, so I understand the anxiety and sleepless nights behind the cases my clients bring me. I have practiced immigration law in Las Vegas, Nevada since 2001, personally handling family immigration, K-1 fiance visas, removal and deportation defense, naturalization, and business immigration instead of passing clients off within a large, impersonal firm. I try to answer client calls and emails myself and stay with a case from the first consultation through its final outcome.
I earned my law degree at Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, and before that studied at Taras Shevchenko University in Kyiv, Ukraine, so I handle cases in English, Russian, and Ukrainian. On the business side, I work with H-1B, TN, O, P, and L-1 visas along with EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 petitions and labor certification, and in immigration court I represent clients on asylum claims, cancellation of removal, and criminal alien defense.
Many clients come to me after a difficult experience with another attorney or a large firm where their case felt like just one file among many. I keep my caseload limited so I can stay personally involved in the details of each case instead of handing it off to assistants.
