Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church
Russian Orthodox Cathedral in Downtown Toronto
Since the spring of 1949, Holy Trinity Cathedral has gathered Russian Orthodox believers of the Greater Toronto Area in the very heart of the city, just minutes from the university district. Full services according to the church typikon, beautiful choir singing, and a warm parish community make it a place people return to for years, and often for a lifetime.
The parish has run its own Russian school for decades - classes begin each fall and are open to children starting at age five, with registration accepted year-round. Children learn the Russian language, history, and the basics of the Orthodox faith within a living community rather than from a textbook alone.
The church is easy to reach by subway, with Queen's Park station nearby, and nearby parking is available for parishioners on Sundays. If you are looking for a Russian Orthodox community in downtown Toronto, stop by for a service - both longtime parishioners and first-time visitors are welcome.
