NOTE:Built in 1911 as a Bukovinian Greek Orthodox church, this Lachine landmark now serves as a dependent parish of St. Nicholas Cathedral, dedicated to St. John the New of Suceava - a 14th-century merchant who held to his faith under torture and became the patron saint of merchants, especially venerated across Moldova and Romania. Divine Liturgy is celebrated here every other Saturday.
